Bottled NYC Tap Water?

Just read this article about a guy selling bottled NYC tap water. Now we can all make great New York style pizza crust.

This isn't the first time NYC water has found its way into bottles. It was sold many years ago. I remember seeing it in a tourist shop at the World Trade Center when I worked in downtown Manhattan.

Wow...just, wow.

Some company needs to start selling bottled water pumped directly out of the East River with the tiny print on the back below the nutritional facts that reads, "Not for human consumption."

Yeah... Don't quite know how to respond to that one. But I guess you have to give the guy props for creative entrepreneurship.

I have to say, being from the NY area and having lived and traveled to many other parts of the country, straight out of the tap, NY does have the best tasting water.

Most bottled water comes from the tap and studies show it's no cleaner or better for you than regular water. I gave up on bottled water a while ago, now I just filter mine and drink it and it's fine.

I just way Slumbdog millionaire the other night and saw them recycling bottled water by taking used water bottles, filling them up with tap and them sealing them with a lighter. I suspect this goes on in many places all over the world.
