'Will Work for Food'?
Has anyone seen that new show with Adam Gergler (I think that's his name) the guy who was on The Next Food Network Star? What did you think? I was surprised to see him since he lost!

Wow. You really wanted to talk about this. ;-)
I think he's funny and kinda cute and I'm willing to give his show a try. God knows I'd rather watch him than Big Daddy.

Settle down! Three or four identical posts will usually suffice. You need rehab.
Oh, yeah. The lobster and bees episode I saw was decent. Adam is a bit of a wuss, but it was better than watching Sandra Lee, except Adam lacks her cleavage.

I will give his show a shot if I am ever around when it is on.

Not really bad, but sure reminded me of the show 'Dirty Jobs'. TFN needs a shot of good and fresh creative content. Or at least bring back 'The Hot Tamales' and the 'Two Fat Ladies' !

I saw the Lobster show as well, it was ok. He looked exhausted doing that job, it took a lot out of him.

It's Adam Gertler.

@RegrettableFoodie@Remander, My granddaughter was on my lap and hit the "post a comment" many times, I'm not THAT interested, just asking, jeez.......

In some ways I'm not surprised he has a show. During the competition he certainly showed that he has an exuberance about him, albeit a bit over the top at times. I should watch the show sometime, but it's the title that has me just off... "Will Work For Food, please help. Vietnam Vet. God Bless You." is written on a piece of cardboard that a homeless gentlemen holds up at various street corners around the streets of Syracuse and it's 'burbs. Breaks my heart and I occasionally have dropped off a loaf of bread with peanutbutter, jelly, a plastic knife and napkins for him, if I've seen him when I happen to be out shopping. He's always said that he'll do an honest days work and is somewhat reluctant to accept my humble donation. I simply say "Please, be safe." It's this time of the year that worries me. I hope he's able to find shelter in this cold weather.

Not bad. But it's no Dirty Jobs.

It's kind of "Dirty Jobs For Foodies" I guess. It's one of the least fluffy fluff (non-cooking) shows offered by TVFN.
@Rhiannon - Sometimes a server hiccups - I thought that's what happened but I can totally imagine those little hands pounding away on the keyboard!

Saw it tonight for the first time. Geoducks are near to us here in Seattle, and you could tell that the man gave his all for the job.
I enjoyed Adam through NFNS, but my wife had never seen him before. We both liked the show. No big pretense - just a little fun and diversion.

@Rhiannon, I was just kidding around; I knew it was some sort of technical difficulty. I didn't think it was one caused by small human, though. :-)
