Restaurant Recommendations: Lake Tahoe, California?
I'm going to Lake Tahoe next weekend, can anyone recommend some good Mom and Pop like restaurants?

Heidi's Pancake House in South Lake Tahoe - great breakfasts....

What part of Tahoe? I live in South Lake, can give plenty of reccomendations there, but don't know much about North Lake. Off the top of my head, you should hit Red Hut for breakfast (better than Heidi's I think), Off the Hook for creative sushi, Sato for all-you-can eat sushi (if you're into that), Orchid's is good Thai- their lunch special is super cheap and a locals fave, Sprouts for soups and sandwiches and healthy stuff. Sorensen's in Hope Valley (30 minutes south of town) has amazing food in a small family atmosphere.

Thank you. I'll be going to South shore and will definitely check out Orchids, BF can eat breakfast 24/7 so we will also try Heidi's.
