I know this is going to sound crazy specific and bizarre, but I thought I'd try anyhow:

I'm looking for a soup recipe that includes a lot of shrimp, but here's the kicker: It can't be gumbo or bisque and it can't be clear or white in color. It's got to be a hearty and hopefully red or brown. Ideally- and if such a thing exists- I'd like for it to be similar to minestrone. I was actually thinking of simply adding shrimp to a minestrone recipe, but I didn't know if that would make any sense.

I know this is crazy, but I'm going to cook for a very picky shrimp eater. They want a soup or stew according to those specifications and I'm really wanting to come through on it.
