Recipe Contests?

Does anyone know of any, anyyyy recipe contest near southern California that dont require you to be over 18 or a jr./senior in high school? Ive tried several but have been denied due to the above and would really like to start competing.

I used to compete in cooking contests in the 4H club when I was in grammar school. Check that out in your area, as a start. Also check your state agricultural office - they may have info on clubs, fairs and such. The state fairs usually have cooking and baking competitions in tons of categories for lots of age groups. I'm assuming you've googled, but try looking at websites of products marketed to people your age. How young are you?
