Offal in Boston
I saw some awesome offal choices at Super 88 Market, but they are still fairly limited. I'm dying to try some really ambitious recipes like lamb brains or goose intestines but I'm stumped as to where to get it. Does anybody know of a good butcher who might have some real offal choices?

Lionette's Market is a great market on Tremont St. in the South End. They have many of their meats butchered on site and when I spoke with the owner he was very enthusiastic about offal and told me to call before I get there and make sure he had the parts I want. If they don't have what you want, they might be able to send you in the right direction.

also, right now super88 is undergoing lot's of changes. personally, i would avoid anything perishable there for a while.

Savenor's is pricey-but they have a real butcher and also offer classes in butchery. I bet they could get you what you need.

Have you tried going to the markets that are around Haymarket area in downtown? Seems to me they'd have everything you are looking for.
