Looks like a stand mixer, but it also lists "glass jug blender" as part of the device.
It would be useful if the site actually descibed the product a little better.

I have never encountered this brand before so I was looking to see if anyone else had.

Never heard of it. I'll stick with my KitchenAid.

My dad always talks about Morphy Richards as being the "kitchen aid of the mother land", no we're not British.

It looks lovely, I like it's lines. Sorry I don't have one I am a kitchenAid girl.

@Jerz - it's basically the English version of the KitchenAid, but it's a bit more than just a stand mixer, it is also a food processor and a blender, all in one. A very high-quality machine. I never realised it was available here, and frankly, I'd gladly buy it. I'm going to check out costco.com.

years ago,{ about 28 yrs} Oster had a version of this. both my older sister & i had one. it was a great space saver & worked pretty well, the major problem was with the motor doing triple duty it began to get slow &bog down after it got some age on it,but i used it a good 10 yrs; maybe a little longer.

My browser sent me to the Lowes logo as a retailer, maybe they carry them too, hmmmm I wonder if they are as durable as my kitchen aid???

I use KitchenAid, but I wanted to get a mixer for my mom. I saw the Morphy Richards at Costco.com and today I was at Sears looking for it. They don't have one there but I noticed the Cuisinart mixer for $375 and I will bet that it is the same one. I think Morphy is manufacturing it for Cuisinart. They have the same look and same features.

It's available at Costco.com for $149.99.

Listed as 700 watt machine, that's a lot more power than any of the KitchenAid machines. Not quite sure how big a deal that really is.
