Is NYC's Co. Pizzeria Being Sabotaged on Yelp?
Is it just me or is Jim Lahey's restaurant Co. being sabotaged by someone creating new Yelp accounts just to bash this newly opened pizza parlor? All of the 1-star ratings come from a newly opened account: http://www.yelp.com/biz/co-new-york

I would guess that James G. is perhaps legit, since he started Yelping in June 2008. Dave S., Charles S., and Joe H. all seem to have started Yelping this month. All users have only one review.
I find Yelp helpful, but honestly, I don't know if it has a large enough user base in NYC yet to really make or break a place—certainly not if all the negative reviews are coming from anonymous, one-time-only reviewers.

Is it possible he just doesn't like the pizza?
Most people treat Co. an Di Fara's with similar reverence to a stranded person finding an oasis in the dessert. After waiting so damn long it's gonna be the best thing ever...
It's all confirmation eating. So much time and energy going into what everyone else says is so good, it's difficult to step back and say, 'eh, it's just a decent slice a pizza, nothing i can't get without a ridiculous wait or trip in dozens of other places closer to home...'

It's kind of weird that people are bashing this place on Yelp, and then Adam got bashed for not bashing it on Slice, though.
I have never eaten there nor plan to in the near future, so this is a totally unbiased observation!
