Best Reuben Sandwich in NY?
Any thoughts on who has the best Reuben Sandwich in NY? I have been craving one for a while now, so I thought I would inquire. Thanks.

Great question. I love Reubens. I've only had one or two at the occasional diner though, best one so far would be The Barking Dog on the upper east side.

I've never had it there (I go for the straight Pastrami or Corned Beef) but I would imagine Katz's would have a pretty amazing reuben.

The Carnegie has a damn good Reuben. Gargantuan, as you might expect, and expensive. Also, Artie's on the upper west side has a dynamite brisket reuben. It's not classic to be sure, but it is a good samwich.

Katz's Reuben sucks -- it isn't grilled. If you want pastrami on plain cold rye go there, but it isn't a Reuben. Anybody know how Stage Deli's is? My food lovin' brother is coming to NY in March and he wants a Reuben.
