What's your favorite candy-box chocolate?

I just got my annual Christmas box of See's. It's not the fanciest stuff, but, boy, do I look forward to getting it every year.

What's your favorite?

Chocolate covered toffee crunch followed closely by chocolate covered caramels.

Sees for me too!

Red and green M&Ms.

And yeah I know... They don't usually come in a box. But I still love them lol.

The coconut kinds....

Last time I was at See's they had this wonderful marshmallow caramel one...I want more. :( I sadly live to far away and don't particularly trust the delivery services with food...

Russell Stover Pecan Delights- Yum

See's Chocolate Butter Creams and they will get them to you in pristine condition. One of my sons sent them every year for my birthday when I didn't live near See's.

cashew turtles

It's not See's I don't trust...it's UPS and Fedex...whose service around here amounts to them kicking the package to my door. I kid you not I was driving down a main street here - 3 lanes of busy traffic - and a Fedex truck was parked on the right of the street. The driver gets out and THROWS THE PACKAGE ACROSS THREE LANES OF TRAFFIC to the other fedex worker on the sidewalk of the left of the street.

when i was a kid i loved whitman's sampler. it was mostly the box itself that drew me in. nowadays i'm MUCH choosier about the quality of chocolate i eat.

I LOVE See's -- it's one of the things I miss about living in California :) Recently my husband gave me a box of Jacques Torres chocolates -- not only were they work-of-art pretty, but each one was more delicious than the last! I savored them, only had 1 or 2 a day until they ran out. Hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to there was one with Mexican hot chocolate spices in it (finished with a kick of chile) that was divine.

chocolate covered nuts

chocolate covered jellies

chocolate covered toffee

chocolate cov- had to stop to wipe the drool off the kepboard

I admit, chocolate covered caramels and chocolate covered strawberry creams were my favs as a kid.

godiva!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is See's? I live in Philadelphia and used to buy the Big Red Box of chocolate candy at Strawbridges every Christmas, but they have closed, sadly. Wish I could find that again!

Oh so many, but the absolute favourites are:

*Guylian - truffles and sea shells
*Duc D'O flake truffles (these and Guylian require an immense amount of restraint...because I could easily finish a small box in a very timely manner!)
*Baci
*truffles of France (Chocmod)
*Merci
*Davinia - truffles and sea shells
* ferrero rocher.

I'm also quite fond of chocolate covered jellies and marshmallows.

See's is a great purveyor of chocolates. If you look online, you'll find their wonderful website which shows all of the various candies and chocolates they make.
They also have stores around the country. I do not know if they are exclusive to a certain area of the country, but a mall in Albuquerque has a store...it's wonderful!

Hey, Chilimama: You can order See's online to get your fix.

I like the Godivas myself...always the dark chocolate covered caramels.

if its sees does it have to be chocolate? I have memories of my sister buying me those butterscotch covered marshmallows.
but any chocolate and caramel combination is my favorite

Can't belive nobody has claimed the orange creams!! Always the first to go in my house!

baci
hershey's kisses - the original ones
ferrero rocher

I used to love Whitman's when I was a kid; these days, not so much (even though I treasure them as gifts just for nostalgia's sake). I love it when I get Godiva, Lindt, or homemade boxed chocolates... yum!

I love chocolate covered caramels, and mocha and chocolate truffle-filled chocolates. I also love chocolates with mint inside. I don't want any fruit oozing from my chocolate.

Here is the Philadelphia suburbs, we always have Stutz candies at the holidays. I don't eat candy, but I do eat one or two of the caramels. I just discovered the sea salt dark chocolate covered caramels at TJ's. I just wanted to try them and when I opened the box for a second sample, it was just about empty! DH has a wicked sweet tooth!

I love my west coast See's (soft centers box) and Nordstrom's Frangos - especially mint, mocha, or raspberry (better from Frederick & Nelsons, but that's been YEARS).

Since relocating to the midwest, I love the Redstone chocolates that my father-in-law gets from Pennsylvania. I can't figure out if that's where my private school always got its fundraising bars or not, but that's what I love-their cocolate w/almonds.

It's not in a box, but I LOVE Dagoba's Latte bar, and my all-time favorite chocolate I've ever had is Chuao Chocolatier's Caracas bar with almonds, pistachios and hazlenuts. I actually had to go get some to verify the spelling ;)

if there are any south of Pittsburghers they know Sarris' is where its at. I can eat the whole bag of their chocolate covered pretzels. But dark chocolate any kind of truffle if my fav....oh and chocolate covered cashews...and coconut...and turtles... pretty much dip anything in dark chocolate and i'll eat it

I like them all and will eat all but I love Godiva

I live in a small town with its own chocolate shop.I absolutely love the Buttered Rum and Black Velvet Truffles honestly the best chocolate ive ever had.

The marzipan chocolates...Love them.

Fannie Mae Candies... Trinidad's especially. They were dark chocolate ganache centers with a white chocolate and coconut crunch outside. I don't know where to find them now that I live outside of the midwest.hmmm..maybe I should look online?

I'd forgotten about Frango's--love me some Frango's!

@ feriorrenna... those are called scotchmallows.... the only see's candy i eat.
