So I was sitting at an S.U. game today watching our rolly polly Orange with legs walk around hugging kids and high fiving fans and it occurred to me that I don't really know too many food related mascots. I'm used to those rugged macho types--Warriors, Pirates, Panthers, Raiders etc. I'm not a big sports fan in general--my interest is in cooking food for the sports fans. But I'm wondering if there are other food related mascots out there. Purdue has Boilermakers, and Nebraska has Cornhuskers--anyone out there know of any others?
