DH is asking what I want for Christmas. I'd like to ask for a pressure cooker because the ease and efficiency tempt me, but frankly am deeply afraid of the things. I know the new ones are supposedly idiot-proof, but I am more idiot than you know when it comes to technical things. You have no idea.

Can anyone 1).recommend a brand, and 2.) Explain how you use it without hurting yourself?
