PerkyMac, how did the gnocchi + granddaughter combo go?
Not that long ago, you mentioned your granddaughter's sensitivity to pasta, and I was wondering how the gnocchi went over... gnocchi are still pasta, although they involve the addition of some potato, and since there are evidently quite a few SE member with assorted food sensitivities, I think this of general interest. I'm really hoping to hear that this worked out well :)

Merry Christmas Perky! I, too, was thinking about you and your little granddaughter, imagining how much fun you two had in the kitchen together! Don't forget to tell us all about it!:-)

Ahhhh.......I hope y'all (yuze guys) had as wonderful a Christmas as mine!
No gnocchi making this time. We did make meatballs and she loved the rice pasta. In fact, she ate every single piece and wanted more. I had so much fun cooking with her. She has her own rolling pin and I have lots of cookie cutters, so that was an hour I'll never forget. I had her whisk some eggs for our breakfast, and when I served them to her, she asked me, "What happened to the yellow part, Grandma? I like to stir it into the white." So, of course, I made her an over easy egg and she ate both. My daughter came downstairs later and she ate some toast, too. I was afraid to give her bread without Mommy's consent. There is so much she can't eat, but she has a hearty appetite for such a tiny little angel. Thanks for asking Mongoose!!!
