Pecan Pie Conundrum
Why do my pecan pies burp all over the oven when I bake them? I use whole pecans, and have followed a few different recipes, but the oven always ends up a big mess, and the pies don't look so great, either.
My son has been asking me to bake him a pecan pie, but I don't want to end up with another mess.
Any ideas, suggestions?
