Need Suggestions: Bay Area Burgers and More

I'm flying out to the Bay Area after Christmas and have only SEVEN DAYS to eat as many delicious West Coast nummers as possible. Serious eaters, I call on you for your ever-knowing wisdom. I'm especially looking for a great burger that's not In-N-Out (had it, loved it, need something new!). I'll also be in Lake Tahoe for a day or two. Thanks!!

I freaking LOVE Murder Burger (though its now-official name is Redrum burger) though not everyone I've eaten there with agrees with me. Squeeze Inn is good too, especially if you like cheeseburgers- they have a cheese "skirt" that's just delicious. Also in Sacramento, La Pearla makes a killer, slightly more upscale burger, if it's still on the menu.
In San Francisco, Pearl's is awesome, as well as Toad's (usually) and Burgermeister (also usually). Monk's Kettle always has a killer burger, as well as a to-die-for lamb burger, soft pretzel, and about eleventy hundred beers, many on tap. Though if you bring any anklebiters to my favorite grownup hangout, I'll hunt you down. It's not a good place for them.

I'd go to the original in the Napa Area

Barney's Gourmet Burger

good variety, which back in the day were unique, now they're kinda ubiquitous.

Great lamb burgers. Our fav is the White Lady or Queen. It's not on the menu anymore, but it's worth asking for. Includes burger patty, fried egg, thick slice of ham, pineapple and some other yummies.
Pub pie is a nice appetizer too.

I'd also second Fat Apples.

oh yeah, how could I forget taylor's? There's one in the ferry building too. Fabulous burgers.
