Know of any pets with food names?

I knew a Chihuahua named Mustard. Now that's just funny!

A Siberian Husky named Budweiser. His "grandparents" had to take him when his owner moved. Their next door neighbor was also named Bud. He didn't think it was cute or funny.

I'll bet there are some good ones out there. Know of any?

We have a chihuahua named Judy but since she is rather portly and will eat absolutely anything (including carrots and broccoli), we call her Foodie.

My boss named her cat Chloe Du Boix. One of my best friends named her dogs Kendall and Jackson, and at one time had two pet turkeys named Christmas and Thanksgiving. Not exactly food names, but definitely food-related.

Sure, I know of some
Though I may have advantage being on several pet message boards so I see more than the average of names.
Chocolate lab named Guinness.
Cats named Coffee and Cream (littermates) also a Beans and Rice bro and sis.
Spud
Margarita
Sushi (which I think is precious for a kitty!)
A couple of Muffins and Biscuits (cat and dog)
Cheeto
Peanut
Pumpkin
Rollo (after the candy)
Pickles
Olive
There are more, but this is all I can remember. I think foodie names are cute, they just have yet to fit my pets so far.
I am sure there could be/are some really creative names possible/out there.

@buffy--Those turkey names are hilarious! Were the poor things eaten or were the names just for fun?
A friend owns a dog named Bleu, but I don't think it is for the cheese, though we tease her about it.

My mom had a dachshund named Tootsie, because it "dispensed" Tootsie Roll lookalikes.

And when ti first came into the house, my sister wanted to call it Burrito because that's how it felt when you held it (same size, warm and lumpy).

I just remembered another one - a big red-haired mutt named Ginger.

Oh we had a dog Muffin when I was a kid, and Kit-Kat was the name of our guess-what.

This thread is going to be fun - I can feel it in my bones. Pet turkeys are funny enough, but named after turkey eating holidays is too funny. Tootsie is so cute and yet disgusting. I'm loving this!

My cat is named sushi
my dog is named pickles

I have a cat named Darby that I call caboulet (cab oo lei) named after the wonderful French dish cassoulet (sp) if that counts.

Oh god, this is hilarious. No, the turkeys were never eaten--I think it was a way to make sure they behaved themselves.

I just remembered we used to have a neighbor with a miniature chihuaua named French Fry.

My former neighbors had two cats, Olive and Roux
My old college roommate named her Black Lab, Olive
My old boss has a dog named Bailey, his favorite after dinner drink
A great customer had a dog named 'Buca (short for Sambuca)
Retired chef in Richmond had two dogs, Pastis and I can't remember the other name, but it was also French and food-related.
A friend of a friend has a dog he named "Go-Ghee" Korean for "meat." ...sicko sense of humor
I know there are more, but I'm drawing a blank.

I used to have a Basset/Beagle mix named Bagel. She like to eat...constantly.

My friends got 2 cats: Pizza and Bagel

Oh! I just remembered some more:

Tuxedo cat named Oreo

Two Corgies named Hoover and Kirby...yeah, I know those are vacuums, but how do you think they got those names?

I had a rabbit named "Dinner" in High-School, and a Chicken named "Sanders." I often call my dog "Meeze" for mise-en-plasse, or "Roomba" because he constantly roams in search of any crumbs.

I have a daschund-beagle mix named Noodle (short for Chicken Noodle). He answers to "Chicken," "Chicky," and "Noodle." Then there's the Jack Russell named Olive. And the cat named Bean, and his mother Crabby. The remaining two cats don't have food names. They're Nermal and Toad.

My friends have had dogs: Cognac, Bailey, Canelle, Biscuit, Bamboo (shoots?), Caramel, Pepper

My brother and his wife have a dog named "Bacon." She wanted a dog, and he agreed on the condition that he got to name it. He loves bacon.

My sister had a dog named Tul amore Dew (Irish Whiskey). The dog named Mustard was actually called Turd. I know.

Not mine, but I knew a chocolate lab named Hershey.

I've often teased that I should have named our two dogs "soap" and "water" just so I could use the joke that our dishes are as clean as soap and water can get them.

One of my fur-children is named Sprite...however I named her after the mythical creatures not the beverage. (She was quite small when I found her) Everyone just thinks the soda though...

Well, as I've mentioned before, I have two dachshunds - also known as sausage dogs, wiener dogs or hot dogs - so we've got enough food connotation even before we get to the names! The older one's name is Frankie Wiener (of course, we just call him Frankie, for the most part), he's got a gazillion of nicknames, one of them is Frankfurter. The little one is so tiny, we sometimes call her little Cocktail Sausage. For a while there, my OH entertained an idea of naming her Beans -- Beanie -- only so that he could call the two of them "Franks & Beans".

An acquaintance has a chocolate & tan dachshund named Hershey. Another friend's dachshund is named Frito. My neighbour's black lab's name is Angus. I'm sure I know of more...

I know someone who's cat is named Taco.

I know a brindled calico cat named Nutmeg and another called Cone because he was found as a kitten licking up a dropped ice cream.

And my granddaughter has a guinea pig named Milkshake. I think when she named him she was really thinking of a sundae because he is chocolate brown on his head, sort of peanut tan around his shoulders and then white (vanilla ice cream?) on his rump. He does look like a sundae when she holds him upright in her hands.

When I was little we had sheep. My father called one ewe Butterball. Her wool was more ivory colored than the others. She was large and in charge and produced big twin lambs each year.

We had a dog named Cocoa (because of his color) when I was a kid.

My ferret is named Mochi.

My friend's cats were named Parsley and Salad.

I knew a dog named Taco, and my cousins have a bunny named Twix.
My sister's dog is named Bailey, and my ex had a pot-bellied pig named Francis Bacon (a stretch, I know).

i knew a duck named DD, short for "destined for dinner".

i once knew a cat named mustard and another one named pickle. also a cat named sirloin because he was found abandoned near a steak house. he lived with a dog named coal, so i called them the barbeque brothers.

I have a min schnauzer named Snickers. Had two cats named pickles and milkshake. Pig named pork chop, calf named Sir Loin. Now that I think about it, that's pretty sick. Maybe I should start thinking Fido or Boots...

I have a cat named Bart. My sister doesn't like his name so she is permitted to call him Orange. We mess with his vocab understanding and orange = good (he is orange colored and he likes to eat oranges) and purple = not good.

I had a cat named Oreo. Now have a kitten named Chicken and a cat (rescued from the liquor store parking lot) named Meridian.
My sister has a dog named Bullet; brother in law drinks Coors Light (the Silver Bullet...)
My friend Ingrid has a turtle named Zuppa. Seems mean. ;0

"Gow" means dog in Chinese. My cousins had a dog they named Ha Gow, which is a shrimp dumpling. It was hilarious to see this huge, rambling dog named after a small, delicate dim sum morsel.

My nephew named his dachshund Oscar (Meyer).

I named my virtual pet pig Char Shiu.

I can't believe I just admitted that I have a virtual pet pig.

@hungryinhouston where did you get this virtual pet pig I want to get one.

My dog growing up was named Taffy. She ate cherries thrown from our huge tree as they were tossed off the roof.

I have a cat named Pepper, and used to have one named Raggs (after Raggs soup) also had a dog at one time named Wurst.

We have a golden retriever named Ellie. Ellie Bean (play on jelly bean) is one of her nick names. But often enough she goes by "The Bean." And wheww, sometimes you would think she had sat down to a whole plate of beans.

I had a cat named Julienne (which isn't really a food but a cutting style).
I had a cat named Casper (like the friendly ghost) but she had a cobby body and most of the time got called Chubbelina.

Virtual [game] pets...

My husband has named his in-game pets after food as well:
WoW: His hunter had a pig pet named Tonkatsu
SWG: Cashew and Pistachio were sledge panthers that my husband hunted with as well

My neighbor had a little football, err toy dog, named Giz. It was short for gizzard (not Gizmo).

My girlfriend had a little dog names Honey, it was funny when she called her out the back door "Honey , Honey come here" she sounded redicilous!

I named my big white fluffy Akita after the fluffy white dumpling, Gnocchi. Though through the years...it has evolved to Noki.

I have a friend with a cat named sprinkles

I have a friend with a dog named Habichuela, which is a kind of bean. (The dog does look like a bean).

growing up we had two black cats...named Hershey and Cocoa. My cat's name now is Simon, but I call him Fluffernutter because he's kind of that color.

A corgi named "Dim Sum".

Two cats - one named Hershey (she was a deep, chocolate brown color) and her younger brother - Nestle.
Maybe Truffle for the next one =)

I had a Torti kitty named Pesto. My #1 Doggie Mickey is a little on the chubby side, so we just call him Sausage.

I had four fish, named Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Sushi.
I also had a tiny cat named Peanut.

A neighbor had a dark brown dog named Cocoa and a butter colored dog named Taffy.

I had a white rabbit named snowball. Not food, but if you add some syrup... Also, remember those pink snowballs (marshmallow tinted pink) with chocolate cake interior. I think it also had a cream inside that? I forget the name. Probably snowball?

@juliebugsmama ~ pretty clever! Since I don't care for Sushi (no offense meant to your fish), I'd name the fourth Snack.

We had food names for our children, too. Maureen the bean. Kristin was called Peanut and Pumpkin (punkin').

My first cat was named Potatoe. It's a very long story.

My (adopted) dog is Muffin. She came with the name and we didn't love it at first, but now that we're used to it...it actually really suits her. The Muffin is a bichon/mini-poodle blend.

My cat's name is Cider ...I'm thinking my next cat should be Ale to match

I don't have a pet. But my BIL always joked with my sister that he wanted to name their Vizsla Quat so he could yell "Kumquat!" when the dog was outside and needed to come back inside. So silly.

My Aunt and Uncle had a dog Muffin when I was growing up.

My first roommate had a cat that I dubbed Mocha for it's dark color but since there was white swirled through her I called her Mocha Latte.

When I was 20 I found a litter of kittens behind a dumpster at my work. I felt awful for them but they weren't friendly, except for one. She was so sweet. I couldn't leave her there. I took her to my (at that time) bf's house. I called her Butterscotch since she was that beautiful color with a little white throughout and she was so sweet. :)

Oh, and I had a Shih Tzu puppy named Biscotti. Sadly, we lost her after only having her for 10 hours -- she had a seizure and died. :o(

My cat's name is Oaxaca, but she is named for the place, not for the cheese.

My best friend has a Scottish Westie named Haggis!

We have 3 cats right now. Salt, Pepper, (betcha can't guess what color they are ;-}) and Suzy, who has been called Sushi on occasion. Amazing the result when the kids are the ones naming the animals, right?

@Perky, I know what you mean about food nicknames for kids, too since my nickname as a child was Punkin and my daughter's is now Meatball. Crazy, right?

@coffeefrappe ~ Meatball was Archie Bunker's nickname for his son-in-law. Come to think of it, we use food as endearments - honey, sweetie pie, sugar, cookie.

@Perky~I remember THAT, now that you brought it up! Because he was "dead from the shoulders up."

My gal's has more to do with crazy behavior and her somewhat cuddly shape(she does not know that and I would never tell her). And your right, honey, sweetie pie, sugar, cookie are all pretty usual as endearments.

The Hubs even calls me Waffle sometimes. It came from an old nightgown I had that had a waffleweave material.

My Mom and Dad had a terri-poo named Shasta (like the soda) - but it really meant "she-hasta" be walked and "she-hasta" be fed...etc...

I had a cat named Kibbles and one named Bits (Kibbles & Bits ya know) but we called them Kibby and Bitty...

my friend had sheep growing up and they were all named after herbs & spices. i recall:

-salt
-pepper
-rosemary
-savory
-cinnamon
-nutmeg

I have a Great Dane named Basil (but pronounced with a short a).

A friend has a Siamese cat named Moo Shu.

My mom has cats, Muttonhead (don't ask), Pickles, Muffin.

@perkymack I thought Archie called him Meathead?

a cat peanut and a dog barcardi

Memory is the first thing to go? Meathead is correct pj. Sheesh. btw: Got a kick out of how your parents use Shasta.
