Fennel v. Endive
Went out to 'inoteca last night, and ordered an antipasti plate. The waiter set it down and pointed to something that looked like (and tasted like) charred fennel, but identified it as charred endive. Which got me thinking...
Endive and Fennel. What's the difference? Is there one? Is one a particular sort of the other?
