Did anyone else do Saveur's Oyster Stuffing (Nov. issue)?
How did it turn out? What did you leave out/substitute?
My dh LOVED it, and we made a double batch.
I used the bread from Costco (pretty good), and used five of the six mini-baguettes, used sherry not madeira, and used dried sage, not fresh.
(live in a Non-foodie area, so we have to make do with Costco bread and such.
Was really hoping to use local oysters, but time crunch hit early, and there was no shucking to be done!
