Cupcake Conundrum
I am not a baker and have never made cupcakes, but I am going to attempt them for a Christmas potluck dessert. (The crowd I will be dining with is happy to eat anything in front of them, so I don't feel a lot of pressure :-)
Anyway, I was going to use the vanilla butter cake batter from last month's Cooking Light, which sounds simple enough. But I want to top them with a chocolate frosting that is EASY to make. My husband says just buy the canned stuff, but since I am attempting something new cooking-wise, my pride says make it from scratch and see what happens.
So, anyone got a simple chocolate frosting recipe? (I did try a search thru SE but seeing there were 10 pages filled with cupcake references, I gave up, haha!)
