Washington DC SE'ers...any good recs for downtown?
I'll be staying at the Donovan House at 14th Street and Mass Ave next week for work. I'm looking for any good places I can hit up during my that is within relative walking distance.
I basically have few requirements other than it not be fantastically expensive. Hole in the wall or snazzy place....doesn't really matter.
One requirement is....has to be delicious!
Any ideas?

Have you ever been to a Potbelly? They have the best sandwiches and ice cream sandwiches too! They are all over the DC area, including one next to the Metro Center station.

I don't know that part of DC that well. I do know that Potbelly's is good in a pinch. Annother awesome lunch option is the Pedro and Vinny's burrito cart http://www.pedroandvinnys.com/
My mother in Law eats out at very swanky resteraunts (she gets wined and dined becuase of her job, lucky lady) and really likes http://www.acadianarestaurant.com/dinner.html which is pretty close to you.
If you are up to taking the metro (it's clean, user friendly, so don't be intimidated!) head up to Cleveland Park to try out Dino's. (www.dino-dc.com) one of my favorite places in the world, great italian food and a wine list that is 20 feet long. They have a resteraunt week deal during the weekdays where you can get an appetizer, meal and dessert, plus complimentary limoncello for 35.08. a killer deal for the quality of food.
