Stadium Food!

If you could have any concession STAND food at a stadium, what would you want? Anything from beer, to sandwiches,to sides, to desserts, WHAT DO YOU DESIRE??!!

A funnel cake with powdered sugar and a cold Abita Amber.

A Chicago Hot Dog dragged through the garden or a big ole' italian sub sandwich on fresh Gonella bread here in sunny Arizona...

GO CARDS!

Well, one of my favorite things to do on Friday nights while I was in college was to do my homework, eat a plate lunch, and watch my school (Univ of HI) play baseball at the ball park with my mother -- my father had gotten us season tix.

I'd order the chili dog plate lunch. It came with a big, juicy hot dog in a bun with a ton of chili served over a lot of rice, mac salad, and something else.

I think they had a teriyaki chicken plate lunch too, which is nothing like the teriyaki chicken served at most restaurants on the mainland US. Ugh.

I have to say one of my dark, shameful secrets is I love hot dogs. With ketchup. YUM!

A big red smoky with tons of mustard or a Cincinnati style chili dog.

A Fenway Frank with a big plastic cup of cold beer. Or sausage and onions.

i only eat ballpark hot dogs. i grew up hating them, and maybe its some weird mental connotation, but i will only eat ballpark hot dogs.

Nachos and a beer.

Ps. GO TITANS!!! 10-0, BABY! Course, this would happen when I cant be home to watch it with my brother and dad, but that's okay.

I'm the same way. About the only time I eat hot dogs is at a football, baseball, or basketball game. And they're usually no good, but I must have one.

Hot dogs. Big fat garlicky hot dogs with every imaginable topping. On great bread. God, I'm hungry.

What about foodstuff that isn't at your typical stadium? What do you wish was there as an option, and isn't?

What cant you get at a stadium these days? Dodger Stadium sells sushi for crying out loud...

I with all of you hot dog lovers. I especially enjoy it if it makes grease drip down my arm...all kinds of toppings, too. Ketchup, spicy brown mustard, onions, relish, chopped tomatoes...and of course, mayonnaise.

Yea you can everything at University of Phoenix Stadium too. Brick oven cooked pizza, prime rib nachos, panini's, sushi, bar-b-que pork sandwiches, chili dogs, fresh Italian sausage, dessert fondue and eight dollar beers.

My brother and I get inferno dogs at least once a season at the Coliseum (USC football). I don't otherwise eat hot dogs, but there is something about a spicy dog and a touchdown.........of course, they no longer sell beer so it's not quite the treat it once was.

If I go to a game, first and foremost is beer hands up. Second would be a dog or pizza depending on the team

when we go to the races i have to get a country fair corn dog, and down south churches chicken or popeyes. or those red hot dogs.

dollar beers............

Brats and beers while cheering on Green Bay. Go Pack!

I guess that I am deviating from the norm, but I have never been a ballpark hot dog fan (okay, maybe the Twins can't afford good catering - we can't even win a game), but I love ballpark pretzels! Although the appeal of the weird, day-glo orange "cheese" is sometimes appealing, more often than not, I love them just plain, though with lots of those salt crystals on them. washed down with a $12 beer, of course.

@meg3j, I know!! I wish I was still living there while they are tearing it up!

A super tasty sausage with peppers, onions, hot mustard and cheese. And a beer, of course.

The guys are going to the SU basketball game tomorrow night. No doubt my hubby will have a beer, make that two, and a dog. The boys will each have a jumbo pretzel and a soda or slushie. Me, I don't care for the crowds so I will watch the game at home with my feet up, a glass of wine, some good cheese and bread and a good book to read during half time.

@junie- amen- gotta go to sausage king outside.
