SO MANY food blogs!!!
Serious Eaters, I know this topic has been covered repeatedly...but I think it bears repeating...
There are just SO MANY truly wonderful food blogs out there -- I literally have 149 food blogs in my bookmarks (Does anyone else use Foxmarks -- it syncs your bookmarks; Awesome)...I just counted them. Still, you only have so many hours in a day to read food blogs....how do you choose which to read? Do you have your few favorites and then just bounce around? Or do you have a long list of blogs you try to catch up on weekly? Do you have any method at all?

I have all my food blogs on my Google Reader. Then I can skim them quickly and read the ones I'm interested in (cooking) and skip ones I'm not (baking).

I have a few on my google homepage, the rest (5-6) are either bookmarked in my favorites. Since I recently heard about tastespotting.com and photograzing.com, i look through them a few times a week and add ones that look promising to my bookmarks for awhile...some stay on, some turn out to be not for me.

are there other food blogs that post as frequently as SE?

i also use google reader, and have a google reader gadget on my homepage. makes it really easy to track which blogs have been recently updated.

I have a small number of blogs that I check daily. I have them saves as favorites since I'm not tech savvy enough to try using an RSS thingy...

I'm an SE loyalist. I waste so much time on this site I have no time for any others!

same with everyone else -- i use google reader and have a food blogs sub-section. if it gets to be too much i just cheat and "mark all as read."

Before I used Google reader, I only kept track of a few blogs that I knew updated on a regular basis, but now I have a whole lot more that I read. I love it!

Looks like Google Reader is the way to go! I'd started one a while back, but for some reason I thought it was going to be a pain. I'll look into it again. Thanks, all!

I subscribe to RSS feeds via Bloglines. I've got to say, it's incredibly convenient. I just looked, apparently I subscribe to 27 feeds, but not all of them are food blogs, of course. Also, very often I just read the new entries on Bloglines (I may save something if I want to get back to it later) and don't go to the site itself (SE being one of the few exceptions), this also saves plenty of time.
