brining turkey breast

What is the least amount of time I can brine a turkey breast. I have two of them. Do you use Kosher or regular salt. Is the ratio 2 to 1. Do I need to put all those herbs and stuff? Thanks for any help you can give. It's my first time doing this "brining thing". Sounds like a good idea though.
