josie wood's pub has pretty good happy hour specials, is usually not too packed so you get pretty good service, the food is alright, and there's pool tables in the back. and they will put the tvs on whatever channel you ask them. it's in the village - i think on like mercer. it's maybe not the hip and shiny - deuce bounce in the east village would be maybe more "cool" to go to but it's been awhile since i've been there so i don't really remember it. and jake's on 23rd and 7th has really good nachos, but it gets pretty crowded and it's not that cheap.
