Do you salt and wrap?

Ina Garten is advocating salting your meats when you get them home from the market and then wrapping and storing them. With the controversy about salting meat too early as opposed to right before cooking where does this idea stand with you? Anybody tried this approach and, if so, do you salt it again before cooking? Huuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh?
