Wedding Registry - Which Bakeware is Best?
I am in the process of completing my wedding registry. My fiancee and I are registered at Target, Williams-Sonoma, and Macy's. We've done our research on most products, but I am having a hard time deciding which brand of bakeware would best for the registry. I am torn between Anolon, Martha Stewart, Calphalon, or Williams-Sonoma Nonstick Goldtouch. The prices vary, but not enough to really sway my decision.
Are any of these four brands a MUST have for bakeware? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

America's Test Kitchen just reviewed a bunch of cake pans and they said that goldtouch is the best

If we're talking casserole type dishes, Pyrex, Pyrex, Pyrex!!! For cookies and such, just plain old aluminum sheet pans from a restaurant supply store are the best. Just use parchment for the non-stick part.

i agree with buffy. pyrex is wonderful and comes in colors and all of that . you don't need to buy fancy cookware unless you want the look.

for cookies and pizza and whatnot - get a baking stone. and I don't know if this is up your alley, but if I got to make a wishlist of kitchen stuff for other people to buy for me, a Le Creuset French oven would be at the top of my list (I just realized the other day what they cost >:O).

If you don't own at least one already, add a Silpat or three to your list. I have several imitators and they can't compare. I'd get some half-sheet pans and the .Silpat fits them. I definitely agree with the Le Creuset - pricey but worth every cent. When is your wedding? Are we all invited? ;)

I love the Chicago Metallic Professional grade cookie sheets. I think they sell these at Williams Sonoma.
Also, Emile Henri is a line that comes highly recommended for pie pans, bakers, etc.
Looking at Cooks Illustrated reviews seems to be a good idea.

The pizza stones are great. Pampered Chef makes a really nice one for a decent price. Just remember you can't wash them with soap--the stone will soak it up and flavor everything with it.

I 2nd the Silpat I love them and own 4 they last a long time and I use them on Airbake cookie sheets. Just make sure you advise your new hubby to wash them don't ever toss them out.

I love the stainless Steel plain jane cooking sheets. I didnt get mine from a cookie supply place as buffy suggested. I got mine @ wal-mart. Same thing. Just a tad cheaper, than cooking supply, but not much! But yes parchment paper is a must. Perfect cookies everytime!
Then how did Buffy say it, " Pyrex, Pyrex, Pyrex!!! " ( giggles ) They are great for everything, and come in so many different sizes shapes and colors. My sister-in-law bought me some of the french white corning ware. It cooks fine, but chips. ( I have 2 children who cook, and a daughter who cleans. Not as gentle on things )
Plus the baking Stones Joyy mentioned, are wonderful!!
Remember this as a rule of thumb! Dont be fooled by all name brands, when it comes to cookware, and bakeware.

I don't bake a ton but I do have both standard calphalon non-stick loaf pans, muffin pans, etc (which are great) and some silicone bakeware. I am about to toss the silicone bakeware as I find it really hard to clean. I don't know why? It's always sticky. Even if I let it soak or put it through the dishwasher.

For a wedding registry, I would register for things that you love but maybe would not buy on your own (due to costs or level of extravagence). my personal fave would be Le Creuset (functional and good looking). For bakeware, I would go with Calphalon as it's sturdy, professional, bakeware. Good Luck!
