Clearly your celebration fare should include well-aged cheese steaks and wine--at least 20+ years!

Waz up Perk ~ How 'bout them Phillies! When Lidge threw that last strike, I jumped up screaming! Scared 2 out of 3 dogs. :-(
DH is traveling, so there will be no celebration until Saturday night. His band is playing, and it will be bar food. Another :-(
@Heart ~ Be nice! It is a well deserved victory. There are no such things as well-aged cheesesteaks! ;-D

Ok, I'll start. Peanuts, Cracker Jacks, Philly Soft Pretzels with spicy brown mustard, MY steak sandwich - grilled sirloin sliced, peppers & onions, mozzarella or gruyere cheese & Heinz Chili Sauce on a hoagie roll, Utz chips, and TastyKakes with pumpkin ice cream. All the beer and wine you can drink. Yuengling anyone?

I'm so proud of the Phillies, but must admit that I have always been a Yankee fan, too. Growing up smack dab in the middle of Philly and NYC, my allegiances were stretched in both directions. When I later lived in Chestnut Hill and then the far northeast of Philly, I didn't dare confess. So, shhhhhhh..........don't tell anybody!
Woo Hoo ~ parade today. Betcha the Mummers will be struttin'. The after parties go all night long. Why am I suddenly reminded of Lional Ritchie? Nothing saying y'all can't celebrate with us - last outdoor picnic of the year.

umm not one person is making cheesesteak realllllllllllllllyy??? I lived in DE right close to philly and the one thing I insisted on was a real street cart cheesesteak. ohhhh yeahh baby!
