Like a a squirrel gathering nuts -- me and peaches

In a moment of madness, I bought two cases of peaches at the farmer's market on Saturday. There were 2 farmers selling them, so I bought one case from each.

So far, I've bagged and frozen about a case worth, plus I made a peach pie on Sunday (we had company, and there's one lonely slice left that will probably be breakfast tomorrow) and today I made a peach upside-down cake.

Before I freeze the rest of my fuzzy fruity friends, does anyone have any other great ideas for some of them? No jams or jellies for me, by the way. I seldom use the stuff, and when I do, there are local producers I can buy from.

Oh, drat. I was going to say jam. It makes a great holiday or hostess gift. So I just did a quick Google for peach chutney and the first couple of hits sounded good. Also I'm thinking a peach salsa or BBQ sauce. There's also spiced whole peaches that go with ham and pork roasts. Most of this is hot water bath jars stuff, so you might not be keen on the ideas.

I don't mind the idea of canning things, my aversion to jams and jellies is just that I don't use enough of it. And I probably couldn't give enough away, either. If it's a savory treatment, I'd probably use it.

Peach BBQ sauce sounds interesting.

Peach iced tea, Pork tenderlon with peaches sauteed in white wine.
