Does anyone know where Goodie's the Chinese restaurant relocated to or even if it reopened? Got jury duty soon!

Yeah a few months ago. My parents even drove around the LES and Chinatown area looking for the new location.

quite a few choices for soup dumplings especially during lunch when the line at joe's is not so bad. was goodies that good?

I'm embarrassed to admit it, but i've actually never been to joe's... so i can't compare. but goodies was the best i've ever had compared to others. they also had lots of other really great stuff, such as sizzling hotpots and whole wok fried sea bass. they will be missed, i feel guilty for not going more often.

I definitely miss goody's, but Nice Green Bo, fka New Green Bo on Bayard (across the street from the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory) has really really great soup dumplings. And everything else.
