Bowery Area Eats
Good morning all. I was curious if anyone knew or had some recommendations as to where eat when around the Bowery area in New York City. I'm going to be going to the Bowery Ballroom on the 30th for a concert and have had quite a hard time narrowing down where to eat. I'm pretty much open to all suggestions as long as it;s no where to outrageously priced, like a hundred dollar entree. Definitely not in my budget. Hopefully someone out there has something great to share. Appreciate any and all feedback.

Bowery Ballroom is at Bowery and Delancey; you are within walking distance of a lot of great places on the Lower East side, and the more southern parts of the East Village. Off the top of my head, there's Prune, Tiny's Sandwich shop, Kuma Inn, 'inoteca, Clinton Street Baking Company, Alias, Belcourt.... some atmosphere/cuisine/etc. preferences would help narrow it down.

@Kathryn: Thanks for the list. I'll definitely be researching the places you've mentioned.

I was walking up Essex Street on Saturday, and turned west on E. 1st Street, heading over to the Bowery. I passed so many interesting little restaurants I couldn't believe my eyes. I think you could seriously just walk along E. 1st and find anything you liked.
