My husband and I recently ate at a great resteraunt in Downtown Dallas called Y O Steakhouse. Everything was so delicisous but I really want to know the recipe to their Gouda Mac and Cheese. Does anyone have a recipe for Gouda Mac and Cheese or even better anyone who knows the Y O recipe? Thanks in advance for the help!

I work in a restaurant with a smoked gouda mac that is simple to make. Melt about 2 tbsp butter in a saute pan throw in a handful of diced fresh tomatoes, some chopped garlic & chopped shallots.( salt & pepper) Let it cook a couple of minutes, pour in some heavy cream -maybe about 2 cups. Get it good and hot add about 3 cups cooked elbows, and about 2 cups of shredded smoked gouda. Stir well to melt the cheese, pour in a heat proof bowl, sprinkle with dry breadcrumbs and broil a couple of minutes until light brown. All my measuring is aprox. because when I cook it at the restaurant its all just thrown together by the handfulls.
