Serious Eats: Talk

Given ingredients X, solve for baked goods Y.

Posted by Christina, September 19, 2008

I have: cinnamon, nutmeg (fresh), honey (~1 c.), brown and white sugar, confectioner's sugar, flour, baking soda and powder, and two sticks of butter.

I can scrump: a reasonable amount of apples, small plums, bananas and Bartlett pears from the dining commons, and probably some whole fat yogurt/cottage cheese.

But my equipment is limited: one 8" cake pan, one large stainless steel casserole pan, a loaf pan, and a baking sheet. I don't even have mixing bowls, sadly, just....spare pots/pans (which aren't oven safe).

So hit me up! What should I make? :) I made a lovely nutmeggy, moist plum cake the other day, but I'm up for other things!
