When I was in Italy the hotels served a variety of delicious cookies as part of their continental breakfast. The cookies were kind of like Stella Dora Breakfast Treats but fresher and tastier. They were the perfect way to ease into the day. I've looked for similar cookies in Little Italy but so far I've had no luck. I've found cookies that look similar but they've been tasteless and rock hard -like biscotti. Does anyone know a good source for Italian style breakfast cookies in NYC?
