Could you just substitute limes or oranges for lemons in the lemon recipes?
Instead of lemon, Ina Garten uses grated orange peel and some orange juice in one of her apple turnover recipes. Try also marinating pork, chicken and beef in lime juice and seasonings. Add grated lime zest and diced mango to your rice - adds a bright and unexpected flavor.
Your dentist will cheer you- they say the acids in lemons (when consumed in quantity) are damaging to your tooth enamel. So there!

I love limes. I use them in salad dressings, marinades, drinks, desserts, etc. Are you looking for savory recipes or sweet ones?
On the plus side, lemons are expensive now, so a switch to limes and oranges might be a good thing. :)

I'd like to score some blood oranges and make a blood orange meringue pie. I love lemons, but oranges, limes and even grapefruit can be substituted most of the time.

A great side dish that I have used is called Fennel Orange Salad. Very simple and fresh.. since everything is just chopped up and mixed in a vinaigrette. All it consists of is orange segments, shredded fennel, and oil cured olives with a vinaigrette of basil, oil, bas. vinegar, and salt and pepper. Mix it together and just serve cold.

You can make lime bars (like lemon bars, just with lemon). They use a lot of limes, and are better than lemon bars.

i almost always use them interchangeably - I mean limes and lemons... oranges are special on its own.
