Mad About Mallomars No More!
What happened to the size of Mallowmars? I just purchased a box at Gristede's on York (86-87th) and was disappointed in the new size. They are smaller than pasties. Wha happened?

Ummmm, I'm laughing too, but I think the original poster must have been referring to the gentleman's club pasties... the meat pies have always been much larger than Mallomars, in my recollection...

Your pasties may need to be smaller than someone elses. We talking coaster size or quarters.

You guys!!!! After reading your posts, I decided to see if my pasties still cover the nips and if I could still twirl the tassels in opposite directions. Bad news - they stink to high heaven. Think the meat went bad?

A Mallomar has a cookie bottom, a marshmallow top covered in chocolate. Loved them as a kid. Crazy stuff!

What attracted you to Mallowmars to begin with? Aside from the size, are those lovable qualities still there? Was it the texture? The cookie bottom? The chocolatey coating? Or was it the seeming imunity to gaining weight from such a treat?
