Given ingredients X, solve for baked goods Y.
I have: cinnamon, nutmeg (fresh), honey (~1 c.), brown and white sugar, confectioner's sugar, flour, baking soda and powder, and two sticks of butter.
I can scrump: a reasonable amount of apples, small plums, bananas and Bartlett pears from the dining commons, and probably some whole fat yogurt/cottage cheese.
But my equipment is limited: one 8" cake pan, one large stainless steel casserole pan, a loaf pan, and a baking sheet. I don't even have mixing bowls, sadly, just....spare pots/pans (which aren't oven safe).
So hit me up! What should I make? :) I made a lovely nutmeggy, moist plum cake the other day, but I'm up for other things!

I would make some sort of apple crumble.
Slice the apples thinly and season with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey. Also toss some of the brown sugar with the apples. Bake at 350 for maybe 20 minutes or so. Then combine the flour, brown sugar, little of the butter, and some cinnamon. Crumble this on top of the apples and bake again for like 7 minutes. Combine the powdered sugar w/ a tad bit of yogurt (or milk if you have it) and drizzle on top.
Hope this helps :)

I'm thinking that a coffee-cake like thing would be nice. Maybe with an apple-pear filling or even a cheese filling. Or cheese with the fruit. No useful recipe, just the idea.
Or...you could do some kind of fruity muffiny sort of quickbread. Banana bread, maybe? You don't mention muffin tins, but most of those sorts of recipes can be made in a loaf pan as well.
You could also do a crostata-type freeform pie with apple or pear or plum (or combo) filling.

izzy's mama--I agree completely.
Mmm, recipes with autumn fruit. Thanks, everyone!

roasted or poached pears... for these recipes here I would use the honey and brown sugar you have for the maple sugar and maple syrup.
you could also make some parfaits after the pears are poached/roasted using the yogurt or cottage cheese.

Grab a box of fillo dough in your grocer's frozen section and go crazy. You'll have to borrow a muffin tin, ramekins or any little custard cups. Brush a sheet of fillo with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon (nutmeg, all spice, whatever). Repeat 3 times, laying the sheets on top of each other. Roughly cut and form into muffin tins and bake til crispy (not long). Remove from tins, cool and fill with whatever - ice cream is great. So is a lovely fall fruit mixture tossed with sugar or honey and your choice of spices simmered until soft, then spooned into your fillo cups. The fancier the tin, the more elaborate-looking your dessert. Top with a dab of freshly whipped cream and a powdering of cinnamon.
