Clinton Hill and Fort Greene Bklyn Eats
Anyone know great places to eat in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene/Prospect Heights/Crown Heights area? I've recently moved near the Clinton/Washington C stop, and although I know a few places in Fort Greene, largely I'm clueless as to what is good eats in this area. Show me guidance! Delivery is a plus (I'm lazy).

i love love love black iris on dekalb. very cheap middle eastern, and way better than zaytoon's a couple blocks away. olea is also fantastic. i also like maggie brown on myrtle, although the service sort of blows. graziella's is good (italian/pizza), bonita is okay - not stellar or authentic mexican, and it's a little pricey, but it's a cute spot. habana outpost is fun but i think a little overhyped - tasty but small portions for the price! really if you just head out onto dekalb for ft. greene and myrtle for clinton hill and wander around a little you will see the myriad restaurants in the area and try them one by one!

Red Bamboo Brooklyn (Adelphi and DeKalb) is terrific, especially on a nice day because they have great outdoor seating. I like Maggie Brown's too (great coffee!), though the service is admittedly unsteady - nice garden in back too.

I pretty much agree with the above posters. I'm not a fan of Red Bamboo because I'm not into fake meat but its quite popular. I like both Zaytoons and Black Iris. Kinara on Myrtle has decent Indian. Its better than the place on Dekalb. Ici on Dekalb is pretty good too although its pricier than the other places mentioned.
Take a stroll up and down Dekalb and Myrtle you'll find quite a few places.

You are close to Kush (Putnam and Grand) which I like: French-African cuisine. Some people like Joloff on Fulton and Washington. Further up Washington is Gen, funky Japanese place and I think they deliver. There are some other places on Washington in Prospect Heights nearer to you than Ft. Greene, too.

Don't forget the good stuff to eat at the Brooklyn Flea as well.
