Murray's on Bleecker sells a kit. Not sure if their place in Grand Central does though...

On a similar note, does anyone have an opinion on who makes (or imports) the best Mozz and Ricotta in NYC? I struggle to find really quality Ricotta

Actually, now that I look at it closer, i have some of the kit components already. Appears that Murray's only sell it complete. So any ideas still welcome.
@birdoggie: for Mozz, I like Tedone Latticini in Williamsburg: http://www.chow.com/places/12881
for ricotta, I usually pick up Lynhaven Goat ricotta at the greenmarket: http://www.lynnhavennubians.com/cheese.html

I have seen cheesemaking supplies at our home brewing supply store. Look for one in the yellow pages.
