mobile problem
hey kids...
So I look at SE Mobile from my phone and i've found recently that after I post a comment, i'm redirected to the full SE site. Which would be fine if I had an iphone but...I don't. The browser on my phone doesn't deal so well w/ full on html. Is this on my end or yours? (btw I heart SE...)

That sounds like a bug to me! It shouldn't be redirecting you to the regular site after you leave a comment. What phone and browser are you using to look at and comment on SE Mobile?

I'm using a sprint Moto 9QC running pocket IE...but the problem seems to have gone away now...um, thanks?

I had a question related to SE Mobile that was the opposite:
Would it be possible to have a user account related setting or cookie to disable mobile mode (because going on SE takes me to the mobile site on my ipod, but I always prefer going on the full site).

@browntown: It's actually already set up! On the bottom of every mobile page, if you click on the link "view normal site" you'll be cookied and no longer be redirected to the mobile site.
@sailordave: hmm, must have been a weird glitch, I'm glad the mobile site is working for you - if you have any more problems, please let us know! As far as starting a Talk topic on the mobile site, I'll put on the list!

Is there a way to get to all the SE sites from the mobile version? Sometimes I can't remember if a post I liked was on SE main or SE NY or one of the other sites.
