Hot Dog: Happy Go Lucky Sausage, or, Child Murderer?

I read about an ad campaign that was to start airing soon in a few cities around the US. It is being paid for by a vegetarian group with the message that hot dogs give children colorectal cancer.

Doctors who did the study insist the info was being taken out of context.
The doctors say it only showed a slight increase in the risk of cancer if eaten in large amounts. The study also showed no direct link to the increased risk and children.

The amount of hot dogs that would have to be eaten for this elevated risk according to the doctors, is something like 2 hot dogs a day for several years. A nutritionist in the article said someone who eats a couple of hot dogs a month is going to be fine assuming they are on an otherwise healthy diet....

So how about you? How many hot dogs a month do you down?1, 2,.....3? Or are you dancing with the devil?

I'm afraid my dance card is full.
