Hershey's Chocolate Bar Recipe Ideas?
Okay, so I bought one of those six packs of Hershey's chocolate bars (the kind that they sell for s'mores) and have not yet used it. Due to the fact that I have been baking a S'more cake for a competition for a few months, the mere thought of anything s'more-related makes me feel ill. However, I cannot think of what else to do with those bars.
Any ideas of what I could do with them? I want to bake something, ideally. No drinks or s'mores, please. But, other than that, anything is welcome!
Thanks!

Better Than Robert Redford!!!
Not a baked good, but it sure brings back childhood memories! (When I liked things that sweet.)
Of course, these days it really ought to be renamed "Better Than"....some other really hot yet mature actor....Daniel Craig imho.
I have not made it in many years, since I gave up most processed foods (Jello pudding anyone?) but it never fails to please a crowd! (Well, at least around here, where mayo and noodles is still called "salad"....I imagine if I had some of you SE-ers over I would get a lecture! :D )
Hershey has some really great cakes with the chocolate bar in them on the site above too. I have a couple of them in my constant rotation both at work and at home.

What is a Better than Robert Redford? I am really curious now!
Also, I their website (actually, that was the first place that I go to), but they don't really have much there that I could really see using those bars for, unless I melted them down.

Hmmm...well, I use a Hershey cookbook rather than the website, and mine has 4 cakes with the melted bar in it, and a couple cookie, pie, brownie and chilled desserts as well.
BTRR is a shortbread crust, topped with a sort of quick no-bake cheesecake layer, then a layer of shaved Hershey bar, then 2 layers of pudding flavors, then some whipped cream and more shaved Hershey bar.
I no longer make it by the original recipe (Cool Whip, Jello pudding mix) but it can easily be made with real whipped cream, homemade pudding etc.
It actually is really good, simple, but I have never had anyone dislike it.

I add chocolate bars chopped to brownie mixes. Or, use larger chunks in the middle of individual brownies baked in muffin tins.
Eat it on it's own (It's not dark chocolate, but it'll do...)
"Ice Cream Tonight"--a take on on ice cream cake that my family makes for get-together's. Basically, it's a layered dessert made in a cake pan--melt some butter and combine with graham cracker crumbs as the bottom layer (like a graham cracker crust.). Melt the chocolate and layer on top of the crust. Then, spoon softened ice cream on top of that and smooth it out. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top and freeze until the ice cream is solid again. You can also add chopped nuts into the chocolate layer. The possibilities are endless--use whatever graham cracker and ice cream flavor combos, as well as any other add-ins you want!
Hope this helps

Why not make shortbread or peanut butter sandwich cookies, putting a square of the chocolate between the two cookies? You could also use the squares to decorate the icing of a cake or ice cream pie/sundae as well as melt them, like some people have suggested, or break them into chunks for cookies, brownies or blondies. I'm a dark chocolate person, but lots of people like milk in combo with dark and white chocolate in some cookies.

I suggest Anna's S'mores Cookies on cookiemadness.net. I make them all the time and ALWAYS get compliments.

I'm going to stray a bit here; the following is not a baked good at all. Melt the chocolate, dip bananas in then roll the chocolate-coated bananas in flaked coconut, nuts etc. and freeze until serving. Notes: You may want to cut bananas in half (width) and insert popsicle sticks or something similar before you dip your bananas in melted chocolate. Be sure to place the finished bananas on a cookie sheet (or baking pan) lined with waxed paper before you freeze.
