Ask Aida?? NFNS idea?

My family and I were watching a Food Network Challenge earlier this week, when we saw a commercial for "Ask Aida", a new show.

"Whether it’s pies or pasta, grilling or frying, each episode will highlight a specific topic inspired by viewer-submitted video and email questions that Aida will answer as she whips up tasty recipes that utilize the ingredient or theme."

Doesn't this idea seem a little familiar?
Oh I don't know, maybe like Adam's from NFNS?

I'm not a fan of NFNS but I think that whole premise is designed to have young, driven cooks come up with new ideas for TVFN to poach.

I think you put the cart brfore the horse. FN was advertising Ask Aida during the run of NFNS. They "chose" the same format for Adam as a way to get him eliminated. They don't need or want two interactive food shows.

To Josdean: All the NFNS shows were shot long ago and ran in consecutive weeks on tape. So they didn't start advertising Ask Aida until after Adam had taped his show. I can't say for sure what the timing was, but it's awfully suspicious.

shows like that have to go into pre-production, possibly even six months before they start advertising like that. they did not steal adam's idea

@FerBer: You are totally reading my mind on that one. Thought the same thing. If I was Adam-I'd definitely be asking some questions...

This happened last year, too. JAG says FN needs Latin flair, and Simply Delicioso with Ingrid Hoffmann launches after TNFNS wraps.
