Add your 10 to the Omnivore's 100!
I admit I adore lists, and loved the Omnivore's 100, posted on Serious Eats.
Of course, all of us always find ourselves saying 'but what about....'
So I propose a game:
1. The 100 weren't necessarily the tastiest foods, but they were sort of 'culturally defining/unique tasting foods.'
2. Think of 10 you would add to the list, without repeating any from the hundred.
3. On the off chance more people than myself find this thread interesting ;) try not to repeat the 10 of the person before you (I'm selecting 10 so as not to explode the bandwith of SE and also so we get a mix and maybe even read most of the add-ins).
Here is the original 100 for reference (http://www.verygoodtaste.co.uk/uncategorised/the-omnivores-hundred/) and it's also on SE
My additional 10 on the fly, heavy on the carbs:
1. English chips from a real, independent chippy in paper
2. A perfectly baked chocolate chip cookie hot from the oven
3. An egg roll.
4. Pumpkin pie.
5. Really good NY-style pizza (shockingly, I didn't see this on the list, did I miss it?)
6. A biscuit breakfast sandwich with egg
7. Ratatouille
8. High-quality dark chocolate
9. Carrot cake with cream cheese icing
10. Creamed spinach

Yea I love the Omnivore's 100 list! So much fun. For some of the comments above: durian and fugu are already on the list. I filled mine out here, but let's see what I would add:
