Stinky Tofu
I need to find stinky tofu...but I have no idea where to go. I've heard there's a few places who sell it in Flushings, and I've hardly had the time to scour all the places in Chinatown. Recommendations?

My general advice: follow your nose! :) Stinky tofu really does live up to its name and then some. You probably already know that stinky tofu is a Taiwanese specialty, so Taiwanese restaurants are your best bet -- try Red Chopstick (136-17 41st Ave) in Flushing. I haven't been there, but I've heard lots of good things and stinky tofu is on the menu.

Flushing seems like the most likely place to have it (big Taiwanese population and all).
It's only cropped up sometimes in Chinatown, but only as a special or some such, and I can't imagine that its the best you can get if it surfaces so seldom and quietly.
