Hardee's in Manhattan?
Hi everybody; a friend of mine is running www.MyBurger.fr, a french site devoted to all things hamburger. He will be in NY in August, and would like to know if there are any Hardee's in Manhattan (he'd like to try the Thickburger). Any luck?

Unfortunately, there aren't any Hardee's in Manhattan. The good news is there are lots of great hamburgers in Manhattan. Do you know what other burgers are on his list?

Tnx Alaina.
My friend will surely feast on a few of NY's great burgers (Shake Shack, among others) but he is mainly looking to sample burger chains such as White Castle, etc.
Can you confirm there is a Johnny Rocket's at 930 3rd Ave?
He is also looking for a Carl's Jr or a Jack in the Box, but they seem to be absent in NY, to our knowledge.
We would welcome any tips you have about fast food he shouldn't miss in the Big Apple.
Have a look at the website, so you can see we are a commited bunch...

Great site! Yes, there is a Johnny Rocket's at 930 3rd Ave. You're right -- no Carl's Jr or Jack in the Box in NY.
You should definitely visit White Castle. 2 local burger/fast food chains to check out are Five Guys and Good Burger. Blue 9 is not a chain, but their burger is in the style of In-N-Out.

Tnx again, Alaina.
I'll post again when there are reviews on myburger.fr related to the NY trip.
Big hug.

There's also a Johnny Rockets on E 8th St. It's quieter than the other ones I've seen.

Shake Shack is overrated and the line is too long. The burger is good, but not worth a 2+ hour wait. There are much better places in the city to enjoy a burger, like Resto.
