Hamburger Help in St. Petersburg, Russia!
Hi, I am currently staying in St Petersburg Russia for a month. I am having some serious USA withdrawls though and am desperate to find a place that sells hamburgers! I don't speak Russian yet so asking for one is much harder than necessary. Any help???

I was going to make my own but I was hoping I could find a place to for off days when one doesn't feel like cooking. Ya know? But thank you, I just might!

Hamburger problem solved! I found an amazing steak house today, I greatly reccomend it if anyone is going to St Petersburg Russia. It is called Stroganoff and they were great!

I don't know of any burger places in St. Pete off the top of my head aside from the ubiquitous McDonald's, but if you make the overnight train trip to Moscow while you're there, head to the Starlite Diner, off Mayakovskaya Metro. The burgers are pricey but amazing--great for if you're feeling homesick!

You should try Shamrock at Ul. Dekabristov 27 (Teatralnaya pl.) too. I went there a couple of times when I was studying in St Petersburg and it was perfect for burger withdrawal.

I can only agree with Markbb - making your own & there are plenty of excellent recipes online (type in hamburger, spend half an hour pouring over them & you may just become one of those billionaires - or should I say burglionaire?
