Emeril Green on Planet Green Premieres Tonight!
Emeril Lagasse's newest show which is on Discovery's Planet Green channel is set to launch tonight at 8pm.

The website says that the new show is supposed to "inspire viewers to conquer their culinary fears and to cook in a more eco-friendly way and with top-quality ingredients that are better for the environment."
How do you think it will measure up to the other shows out there?

The premise is sound and Emeril is a bonifide good cook and chef. I think it's a good combo. Personally, I'm very interested in learning more about "eco-friendly cooking", particularly how to grow/produce your own ingredients. I only hope that Emeril loses the theatrics of Emeril Live (please, no more Bams!) and sticks more to his demeanor on Essence of Emeril. With all the crap clogging the airways on FN, I look forward to a fresh show on a different network with a proven chef.

I have been looking forward to this show, I have been loving the programs on Planet Green.
I am surprised they are showing 6 new episodes tonight, I hope that isn't going to be most of the season.

I am really looking forward to Emeril's new show. I set up the DVR as soon as I heard it was coming on. I am with Josdean - he needs to lose the Bams! and that silly humming type noise he started making.
