I think your best bet would be to find a market or grocery store that carries bags of Kossar's Bialys. Though Kossar's bialys are sometimes underbaked (I just toasted an underbaked one this morning) they are still the best bialys I have found in Manhattan. In Brooklyn I like Coney Island Bialys (I think that's the name) on Coney Island Avenue.

Try Seabras Market on Commerce Street in the ironbound section. They have a bakery on premises and get bread shipped in every day. The hankering for bialys must be powerful for you to post on it.
