Favorite summer food- now and from childhood?

Yeah, it's 2 am and I have insomnia. Soooo, what better way to kill the time until the tylenol pm kicks in than to mull over summertime? What food is your favorite summertime fare? I have a weakness for tomato sandwiches and freshly picked/ cooked lady peas. No, not together. Although... lol

From childhood my summer must have was sno-kones - there used to be a truck that came through our neighborhood selling the BEST sno-kones. I always got rainbow flavor. Sigh.

Should be fun talking about what we love from summer now v/s when we were kids. ;-P
