Ode to Tim Russert

In honor of Tim Russert (May 7, 1950 - June 13, 2008) and his love of his hometown, Buffalo, New York, I will eat Buffalo wings for dinner tonight.

I couldn't believe how sad I felt when I heard about his death. How about you? Sunday mornings will never be the same without him on "Meet the Press." May he rest in peace.

I cried like a baby and watched MSNBC, NBC, Charlie Rose and Big Idea as well as Fox and CNN. Buffalo flew their flags at half-staff - what a tribute to a warmhearted, intelligent, talented man who never let success change his heart. I will miss him and my heart goes out to his loved ones. Happy Father's Day little Russ and may you be in heaven before the devil knows you're gone.

Buffalo wings it is!

Only the good die young.........

@perky-our brains sure are connected today!

I am a total MSNBC junkie and was floored when i heard the news!! I cried watching all the tributes-wings for din tonight it is!!

I really liked him. He gave it equally to both sides. He was fair and trustworthy.

Rest in Peace.

It always saddens me when someone is taken quickly from us. I am still frozen in shock. He was the only interviewer I liked on tv. My grandmother used to say it best. Have that extra piece of pizza you never know when you had your last slice.

I'm not even a big NBC fan and I felt bad when he died - it's those sudden deaths that leave everyone shocked. RIP
